WEX Global Bioeconomy Summit
Speaker
Speaker
Deputy Director and Project Executive
City of Cincinnati, MSD, USA
Ahead of the WEX Global Bioeconomy Summit, we asked our speakers to share their perspectives on the opportunities, challenges and innovations shaping the global bioeconomy.
This is an especially important moment in our industry given the potential for new regulatory requirements and corresponding treatment technologies related to emerging contaminants, as well as the challenges associated with scarcity of resources coupled with ongoing global supply chain disruptions.
The common challenges facing utilities do not observe international boundaries. There is tremendous opportunity for utilities to stay connected and to learn from one another by sharing lessons-learned, innovations, and solutions.
Cincinnati is investing heavily in its biosolids processing facilities, with one facility under construction and another that will start construction in 2030. I hope to meet with utility owners and other industry professionals to exchange knowledge – ideally learning something that will add value to our projects.
