⚠ Spam email warning ⚠

We have been made aware that other companies advertising their products and services (namely data for sale) are using the name of WEX Global and even our logo without authorization.

These offers falsely create the impression of co-operation with WEX Global although no such arrangements actually exist. The data contained in these offers is not our data and may well be simply generic data for the water sector obtained from generally accessible sources (e.g. online print exhibitor list, catalogues, etc).

Currently some WEX Global attendees are receiving offers for alleged visitor contacts including company name and full personal contact details. As many of you will know we do not have an exhibition with stands at WEX Global which is something these scammers appear to have overlooked.

For the record I would like to state that we do not under any circumstances either sell or share our data with any third parties. Please ignore and classify those emails and offers as spam. We have reported them but it is very difficult to stop as they simply repeat the process using other addresses.
