Building the Markets for Bioresources

Policy • Investment • Markets • Demand
Building the circular bioeconomy will require more than innovation. It will depend on supportive policy, investment, commercial demand and strategic partnerships that enable recovered bioresources to compete, scale and create long-term value.
This is rapidly becoming a global priority. The European Commission has set an ambitious objective through its forthcoming Circular Economy Act to double the EU’s circular material-use rate by 2030. Achieving that ambition will require a significant increase in the recovery and productive use of bioresources.
The WEX Global Bioeconomy Summit will bring together international leaders to explore how governments, utilities, agriculture, industry and investors are working together to build the commercial foundations of the circular bioeconomy.
